Jailhouse Jen will get the party started with her secret stash of illict beats, then in keeping with the Yardwise tradition of heavyweight selections, Misteek, and Spin Zero will lay down the freshies, the classics and their own exclusive dubplates. Finally DJ Cannonbomb will move it up a notch dubstep style, for the folks who want to cut loose on the dancefloor through to the wee hours...

The Freedom Shop Garage Sale

It's been a year since the October 15th state terror raids and the Freedom Shop is having a garage sale to support the defendants.

- All proceeds go to the October 15th Solidarity support fund

Presentations on the raids, vegan potluck and music at the Dry River collective space, starting at 6pm on Saturday night, August 30. The collective is at 740 North Main Street in Tucson.

Dry River Collective is an autonomous group of individuals working to create a community based on sustainability, cooperation, and self-sufficiency. We promote education and direct action to resist all forms of oppression and hierarchy.

The inspiring story of how the indigenous Bougainville revolutionary army chased out the Papua New Guinea armed forces, and mining company mercenaries, to take back their land. In th process they created an eco-revolution, harnessing the power of nature... and coconuts.

The Last Resort
A provocative documentary centred around the proposed subdivision of the 60
year old Opoutama campground in Mahia, and subsequent occupation. The film
shines a timely light on the Overseas Investment Bill, Land and Business
Ownership, the Real Estate industry and the concepts of sovereignty and
self-determination.
